ARRESTED: Possession of Marijuana 2.1lbs

David Guadalupe Perez (20) Armando Gomez (19) Jason Joshua Gomez (17) On 02/23/2017 at approximately 3:15 P.M. Agents with the Special Investigations Unit were conducting surveillance when agents witnessed what appeared to be a narcotic transaction. Agents then proceeded to follow a white in color 2010 Dodge Charger. Agents then attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle at the 2300th block of Ringgold, where it came to a stop. The vehicle then sped up and lost control at the 2400th block of Ringgold and the vehicle became inoperative. The occupants were immediately apprehended. The driver was identified as David Guadalupe Perez, while the passengers were identified as Armando Gomez

ARRESTED: Manufacture and/or Delivery of a Controlled Substance (cocaine) 3.7 grams Possession of Ma

Moises Carbajal Jr. (21) On 02/15/2017 Agents from the Special Investigations Unit attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a Blue in color Dodge Challenger after a traffic violation had been observed. Information had also been received thru the Crime-Stoppers line that a male subject driving said vehicle was in the business of selling illegal narcotics. As Agents attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Palo Blanco St. the driver of the Dodge Challenger sped up to avoid detention. The pursuit was immediately discontinued because of the reckless driving by the driver of the Blue Challenger who was later identified as Moises Carbajal. Burglary of Vehicle Suspect

Auto Theft Agents are looking for the identity and whereabouts of this subject. He is believed to have committed two burglaries of motor vehicles along Morningside Rd. and attempted to gain entry into the residence. Agents also confirmed there was more attempted Burglary of habitations that occurred that same night (2/2/17) in the same area and in the same manner. Andres Hernandez (42) On 02/13/2017 Agents with the Special Investigations Unit observed a male subject identified as Andres Hernandez walking at the 2700th Block of east 31st. Hernandez, a known offender was wanted on a Failure to Appear Warrant from District Court. Hernandez was placed under arrest on the strength of the warrant. During the investigation Hernandez was found to be in possession of several small zip lock baggies containing crack cocaine. Agents then conducted a consent to search at his residence located at 3000 block of East Avenue, where additional illegal narcotics were located. Jose Alfredo Paz Jr (26) On 02/09/2017, K9 Officer conducted a traffic stop on a maroon Ford Explorer for failing to signal on a lane change. The vehicle traveled for a short distance at a slow speed and eventually stopped on the 600 blk. of Lindale Lane. It appeared that vehicle was going to evade and several Officers assisted in the traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle was escorted out of the vehicle along with the passenger. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from inside of the vehicle. The driver identified himself as Luis Guerra and stated his identification was in his wallet. ARRESTED: Aggravated Robbery; Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity

Joe Ivan Magana (20) Daniel Rolando Pizana Tovar (20) On Tuesday February 7, 2017, Officers responded to the 3500 block of FM 802, in reference to an aggravated robbery. Contact was made with the victim who stated two male suspects; one armed with a baseball bat walked into the store demanding money. One of the suspects was swinging the bat striking counters and displays demanding the money. Victim fearing for his safety opened the cash register. One of the suspects reached over and took approximately $60.00. Victim stated the suspects were wearing black with grey hoody sweaters, pants and bandanas. Both suspects exited the store and ran towards Old Port Isabel Rd. Witness observed the

ARRESTED: Burglary of Vehicle (X2); Attempted Burglary of Vehicle (X9)

Leonel Garica (19) Jesse Castillo (23) On 2-3-2017, Auto Theft Agents charged Jesse Castillo and Leonel Garcia with 2 counts for burglary of vehicle offenses each and 9 counts for Attempted burglary of vehicle offenses. Jesse and Leonel were arrested the previous day by Patrol Officers for two burglaries of vehicle offenses. At the time of the patrol arrest, Auto Theft was contacted since additional property was located in the trunk of the suspect’s vehicle and no victims were found at that time. One of the suspects identified several neighborhoods and the subject identified the vehicles they burglarized and those they attempted to burglarize. Statements were obtained from both suspects

ARRESTED: Robbery

Maya, Erick Alberto (18) On 02/02/2017, Detectives made contact with Erick Alberto Maya at city jail. Erick Maya was arrested on 02/02/17 at approximately 5:00 a.m. for committing an Aggravated Robbery at the Stripes located on the 9600 block of Anacua St. Erick Alberto Maya was questioned in the Criminal Investigations Division by detectives regarding a Robbery that occurred at the same Stripes on 01/24/2017. Erick Maya gave a statement implicating himself to the robbery on the 24th day of January 2017 at the same Stripes on Anacua St. Erick Alberto Maya was charged with the criminal offense of Robbery in the January 24th case.
