CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS
Every year the Brownsville Police Department performs activities to collect funds that are use to acquire toys given away to City of Brownsville Children before Christmas. The long year effort includes a Golf Tournament and Fundraisers as well as donations from various sponsors.
Citizens Police Academy and Jr Police Academy
The Brownsville Police Department proudly serves the City of Brownsville Citizens and tries to keep them informed of how the Police Department works, for that reason it offers Citizens a chance to participate on the Citizens Police Academy and Jr Police Academy where participants received an in depth view of the different Divisions and the tasks they perform to serve the Public.
Annual Community Events
The Brownsville Police Department sponsors and participates on several Community Events throughout the year increasing its Personnel relationship with the Citizens of Brownsville.
Brownsville Police Explorers
Because our Youth is the Future, the Brownsville Police Department sponsors a group of teens who are interested in learning about Police work and how to raise awarness and better relations between law enforcement and the Community.
