UPDATE: Auto Pedestrian Accident (Fatality)

Brownsville Police Detectives have positively identified the pedestrian male involved in the auto pedestrian accident (fatality) that occurred on August 12, 2019 at approximately 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of International Blvd. and Harding St. He was identified as Mauro Manzano (59 years of age). Case remains under investigation.

Deceased Unidentified Adult Male

Brownsville Police Detectives are working to identify an adult male subject who was pronounced deceased at the scene of an auto pedestrian accident that occurred on August 12, 2019 at approximately 1:00 AM at the intersection of International Blvd. and Harding St. The deceased unidentified male was a pedestrian in the accident and he appears to be somewhere between 40 and 50 years of age. He is approximately 5’5” tall, weighs approximately 150 lbs, has short black and gray hair, as well as a mustache and small beard stubble on his chin. He was wearing a red and black checkered button shirt with blue jeans and black flip flops (open toe sandals). He has a small tattoo of a fish on his left upper arm. He had no identification on his person. An autopsy was ordered to determine the cause of death. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident and was cooperative with the investigation.
