ARRESTED: Aggravated Robbery (x2)

On July 16, 2018 at approximately 06:15 am, Brownsville Police responded to the 4300 block of Boca Chica in reference to an aggravated Robbery that had just occurred. Initial information received was that two subjects with a rifle had robbed the victim from her keys and her purse as they were in the parking lot of said location. At approximately 06:28 am, another call was received of the same nature and possibly the same subjects on the 1100 block S. Central Ave. The victim also advised that two subjects with a rifle took her purse while she was waiting for the bus. Further investigation located the suspect vehicle on the 1800 block of Wilson St. Investigators made contact and identified two subjects and a female juvenile. The two subjects were identified as Rodriguez and Torres. Both implicated themselves to the both robberies and Investigators recovered a pellet rifle at the location. Several items belonging to the victims were also located inside the truck. Both were charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery.
