ARRESTED: Possession of Controlled Substance

​On 5-9-2018, Narcotics Agents conducted a traffic stop on a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero for traffic violations. The passenger in the vehicle identified as Juan Salinas was observed wiping marijuana residue from his shirt. Both Passenger and driver were ordered out of the vehicle and detained. Agents observed a baggie of cocaine on the seat where Salinas was sitting and on the street pavement just outside the passenger door. Salinas was placed in custody. Agents also found the driver, Billy Joe Pool, in possession of cocaine. Salinas was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (3.7 grams) and Pool with Possession of a Controlled Substance (7.6 grams). Both were escorted to city jail.
