False Report to Peace Officer / Theft Class A misdemeanor

On March 21, 2018, Officers responded to the 2400 block Central Blvd., in reference to an aggravated robbery. Upon arrival contact was made with clerk/complainant Dalia Jimenez. Jimenez informed officers that an unknown male suspect had threatened her with a knife and demanded the money from the register. Shortly thereafter, Investigators reviewed the businesses surveillance and Investigators see as Jimenez hands over the money to an unknown male subject who enters the store without hesitation. Said unknown male suspect then leaves the store. Jimenez was questioned and finally admitted to providing a false statement about the aggravated robbery and added that the subject is known to her. Jimenez was arrested and charged with false report and theft.
