Brownsville Police Detectives arrested four subjects for Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with intent to Impair. BPD Detectives and the Fire Department were searching for a handgun yesterday on the 900 block of Boca Chica Blvd. The Fire Department located a 9mm handgun after several hours of searching. During the course of the investigation, four subjects were identified as removing the handgun from the crime scene and discarding it into the resaca. All four were arrested and charged with Tampering/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair. The victim is still in critical condition as of this morning. Case remains under investigation.
