ARRESTED: Man/Del of Controlled Substance (cocaine) 2.0 grams

On 06/27/2017 Agents of the Special Investigation Unit conducted hotel/parking lot interdiction. Agents turned their attention to a Black Dodge Dart. The vehicle was followed to the 800 block of the Expressway. At that location agents made contact with the passengers of the vehicle. The passenger was identified as Miguel Uresti and the driver was identified as his spouse. Agents had observed the vehicle making what appeared to be quick exchanges with other individuals during the investigation. The Agents requested consent to search the vehicle and was granted by the subjects. During the search agents located five (5) small baggies with a white powdery substance which field tested positive for cocaine. At the scene Miguel took responsibility for the cocaine. Miguel's spouse was identified and released. Miguel was arrested and charged with Manufacture and/or Delivery of a Controlled Substance (cocaine).
