ARRESTED: Possession of Marijuana 2.1lbs

On 02/23/2017 at approximately 3:15 P.M. Agents with the Special Investigations Unit were conducting surveillance when agents witnessed what appeared to be a narcotic transaction. Agents then proceeded to follow a white in color 2010 Dodge Charger. Agents then attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle at the 2300th block of Ringgold, where it came to a stop. The vehicle then sped up and lost control at the 2400th block of Ringgold and the vehicle became inoperative. The occupants were immediately apprehended. The driver was identified as David Guadalupe Perez, while the passengers were identified as Armando Gomez and Jason Joshua Gomez. During the search of the vehicle agents located 2.1 lbs. of marijuana. Perez was charged with Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana, while Jason and Armando Gomez were charged with Possession of Marijuana.
