Officers responded to the 400 block of Boca Chica Blvd in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, the Officers made contact with the complainant who advised that two subjects riding bicycles shot at the house from the alley. Officers recovered 9mm casings at the location. Officers later located a male subject who was identified as Perez, on the 200 block of Boca Chica riding a bicycle and matching the description of one of the possible subjects. Officers stopped the subject and located a 9mm handgun in his jacket pocket. Witness positively identified Perez as one of the subject that shot at the residence. Perez was charged with Deadly Conduct, Unlawful possession of weapon and possession of marijuana, which was found on his person. No injuries were reported at the location of the victim. Case remains under investigation.
