Possession of Controlled Substance (Cocaine and Ecstacy) Possession of Marijuana

Officer conducted a traffic stop on the 2200 block of Athens on a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix after observing traffic violations. The officer identified the female driver as Garcia and could smell an overwhelming odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The officer observed a clear plastic baggie with marijuana by the center console of the vehicle. Garcia provided verbal consent to search the vehicle and Officer found a medicine bottle with ecstasy pills in the driver’s door, several clear plastic baggies with marijuana in the center console, and two marijuana cigarettes and four clear baggies with cocaine found in a cigarette box. Garcia was subsequently arrested and gave a statement to the ownership of the narcotics found in the vehicle.
