Victor Hugo Teran (34)

Crime Stoppers tip lead to the arrest of Victor Hugo Teran.  Teran was wanted for several Aggravated Robberies dating back to late 2016 and early 2017.  Subject was arrested by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force after responding to the location given by the tipster.  He was arrested without incident.  Bond was set at $200,000.

Abel Guadalupe (34)

Brownsville Police arrested a man who was seen on video kicking a child in the parking lot of the 2900 of Boca Chica Blvd.  The video was taken by a citizen who reported the incident to the Police on Monday June 18, 2018.  Investigators obtained a warrant and arrested Guadalupe this morning.  His bond was set at $25,000.

On May 26, 2018 at approximately 02:00 am, Officer responded to a call of an assault on the 5500 block of Padre Island Hwy.  Witnesses advised that the victim, identified as Hugo Tapia Flores (49), and the suspect were involved in a verbal argument initially and then turned physical when the suspect  punched the victim in the face causing the victim to fall back and hit his head on the concrete floor.  The victim was taken to a local hospital and the suspect had left the scene.  The victim expired on June 02, 2018 as a result...
