The Brownsville Police Department will begin a Parking Citation Enforcement campaign next week. Anyone having any outstanding parking citation is urged to go by Municipal Court, 1034 E. Levee, and liquidate any and all pending citations before next week. Traffic Enforcement Officers will be placing wheel clamps (vehicle boot) on vehicles found to have outstanding citations. If you find your vehicle has been clamped, the owner must make arrangements to pay any outstanding citation by the end of the day (5pm) or the clamped vehicle will be towed.
Burglary Task Force Detectives are looking for information in regards to a burglary that occurred at the Gonzalez Park Pool. Unknown subject broke into the storage area sometime during the evening hours of July 22, 2016 and proceeded to spray paint the walls and damage the property.
