MISSING PERSON: Ramiro Avila Jr, AKA: "Kimberly"

Ramiro Avila Jr. (32) AKA: Kimberly Brownsville Police are still investigating the disappearance of Ramiro Avila. Avila, who also uses the name “Kimberly” was last seen by family members on May 13, 2017 at approximately 2:30am. Family members gave Avila a ride to the 1200 block of E. Washington St and have not seen or heard from Avila since then. Family advised that Avila is transgender and was last seen wearing a black wig, a black short sleeve dressy blouse, a black skirt and high heel shoes. Anyone with information to the whereabouts of Ramiro Avila Jr (Kimberly) is asked to contact the Brownsville Police Department (956)548-7000 or the Brownsville Crime Stoppers (956)546-TIPS(8477).

Stolen vehicle Suspect

Auto Theft Agents are looking for the identity of this subject. Suspect is driving a 2012 Toyota Camry bearing Texas license plates HHJ-5438 that was stolen on 07-22-17 and crossed the vehicle through the B&M Bridge. ARRESTED: Possession of Marijuana (63.6 lbs)

The vehicle was spotted on Palm Boulevard and followed to Mckintosh St. where a traffic stop was conducted. The vehicle was occupied by four male subjects and a female driver identified as Thalia Martinez. ARRESTED: Man/Del of Controlled Substance (2.70 lbs cocaine)

Raul Jose Fernandez (39) On 07/03/2017 Agents from the Special Investigations Unit responded to the 3900 block of S. Expressway to assist patrol officers who were responding to a call of a male subject identified as Raul Jose Fernandez who had previously left some illegal narcotics inside one of the rooms at the location. Fernandez was back at location and attempting to rent the room in which the narcotics had been found. Agents made contact with Fernandez as he was about to enter the hotel. Fernandez was advised of the pending investigation in regards to the 2.70 lbs. of cocaine which the Patrol Officers had previously seized, after his stay at the location.
