Auto Theft Agents are looking for the identity of this subject. He is a burglary of a vehicle suspect. He was seen driving either a GMC or Chevy extended cab pick up. He also has a tattoo on his left chest area and one on his right upper back. ARRESTED: Possession of controlled substance (cocaine) 2.8grams

Jesus Rodolfo Pineda Tovar (36) On 04/20/2017 Agents with the Special Investigations Unit conducted a traffic stop on the 100 block of South Dr. on a black 2015 Nissan Rogue. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Jesus Rodolfo Pineda Tovar. Upon contact with the driver, he appeared very nervous. Further investigation by the Agent revealed that Pineda Tovar was found to be in possession of several baggies which contained a white powdery substance which tested positive for cocaine. While searching the Nissan Rogue agents located an additional baggie with cocaine on the floorboard area of the vehicle. Emiliano Garza (37) Hugo Arevalo (20) On 04/18/2017 at approximately 3:25 P.M. Agents from the Special Investigations Unit observed a 2005 Green Jeep Grand Cherokee commit several traffic violations on Paredes Line Rd. Agents conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the 2500th Block of Eduardo Avenue. When the vehicle came to a stop, agents observed a heavy set male exit the vehicle in a hurry and walk into a property. The driver was detained and identified as Hugo Arevalo. During the initial contact Arevalo appeared extremely nervous. Further investigation revealed that Arevalo had a block of cocaine (2.6 lbs.) inside the vehicle. K-9 Rudy, 7 year old Belgium Malinois from Holland was born on 12-04-2009. K-9 Rudy passed away on January 26, 2017 due to Gastric Torsion (Bloat) while on duty. K-9 Rudy was handled by Senior Officer Pedro Gonzalez and had been since 2011 when K-9 Rudy joined the Brownsville Police Department. K-9 Rudy was trained in the detection of explosives and patrol work. He was used extensively throughout the Rio Grande Valley to assist other local, state and federal agencies. K-9 Rudy was assigned to the Patrol Division and assisted officers in numerous tracks as well as assisting in the arrest of several criminal suspects. Guadalupe Martinez (29) Jesus A. Rodriguez (21) On 04/06/2015 Agents from the Special Investigations Unit conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of three individuals. Agents were conducting surveillance on a male subject as part of an investigation. The subject was driving a White Ford Explorer and which the Agent made contact on Central Boulevard. A consensual encounter was initiated with the driver who was identified as Guadalupe Martinez. Martinez was asked for consent to search of the vehicle, which he granted. Felipe Botello (41) On 04/05/2017 K9 Officer conducted a traffic stop on a Red 1999 Ford F150, after a traffic violation was observed. While the Officer was attempting to stop the vehicle, it was noticed that the driver was ignoring the officers who had already activated the lights in order to conduct the traffic stop. The vehicle finally came to a stop at the 4100th block of Southmost. The driver was identified as Felipe Botello Jr. and the officer observed that the driver appeared extremely nervous. Marcial Troncoso (33) On April 1, 2017 Brownsville Police Officers were dispatched to 1400 block of Janet Lane in reference to a medical emergency. Upon arrival Officers found the victim, 15-year-old Fernando Moreno, unresponsive in his bedroom. EMS affirmed that Fernando was deceased. Fernando suffered from IDD (intellectual development disability) and was a client of Serenity HCS. He had been placed at the above location for care on Thursday March 30, 2017. At the time of his death Fernando was in the care of Marcial Troncoso. Vanessa Chavira (33) Benjamin Clark Plymale (27) On Sunday April 2, 2017 at approximately 07:30pm, Officer observed a black Audi traveling on the 500 block of E. Alton Gloor without front license plates. A previous lookout had been issued on a black Audi with Georgia license plates occupied by male and female and possibly carrying narcotics. The Officer conducted a traffic stop on the 700 block of E. Alton Gloor on said vehicle and observed that the vehicle had Georgia license plates. The Officer made contact with the driver which was a female. She attempted to give a false name and address initially until she was properly identified as Chavira.
