Manufacture/Delivery of C/S Methamphetamine

Victor Manuel Martinez (32) On November 25, 2016, Officer observed a white Jeep traveling on the 1800 block of E. 7th St. Officer observed the vehicle conduct a traffic violation and proceeded to conduct a traffic stop on the 700 block of Paredes Ln Rd. Officer identified the driver as Martinez and observed him to be extremely nervous. Consent to search was obtained from Martinez and Officer located several square bundles in the back seat in a Walmart bag. Further investigation revealed that the content was Methamphetamine with a total weight of 7.0 lbs. Martinez was charged accordingly. Case remains under investigation.

Delivery/Manufacture of Counterfeit Instrument

Nelson Francisco Perez-Flores (28) Auto Theft Agents arrested Perez Flores on Wednesday November 23, 2106 after he attempted to sell counterfeit documents (Mx drivers license). Agents received information on a subject selling fake drivers license. The investigation revealed Perez-Flores was advertising on social media and ultimately arrested. Case remains under investigation with further charges pending.

Man/Del of C/S Cocaine (10.0grams)

Ramon Garcia Jr. (41) On November 21,2016, Officer conducted a traffic stop at the 1200 block of E. Madison on a green Nissan Altima after observing a traffic violation. Officer identified the male driver as Garcia and observed him to be extremely nervous. When the Officer asked the driver to step out of the vehicle, Garcia attempted to throw something on the ground. Officer observed Garcia threw a white rock-like substance known as crack cocaine. Garcia was placed under arrest. Consent to search the vehicle was obtained from Garcia and it revealed two other rock-like substances in the center console. A total of 10.0 grams of crack cocaine was seized from Garcia. Burglary Detectives are looking for information on a burglary that took place on or about the 14th of November 2016 at the 6500 block of US Hwy 77(Zakia Truck Group). Unknown subject(s) took 250 tractor trailer tires (Road Shine Brand) from their storage facility. Margarita Garcia (32) Officer conducted a traffic stop on the 2200 block of Athens on a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix after observing traffic violations. The officer identified the female driver as Garcia and could smell an overwhelming odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The officer observed a clear plastic baggie with marijuana by the center console of the vehicle. Garcia provided verbal consent to search the vehicle and Officer found a medicine bottle with ecstasy pills in the driver’s door, several clear plastic baggies with marijuana in the center console, and two marijuana cigarettes and four clear baggies with cocaine found in a cigarette box. Unlawful carry of Weapon (handgun) Deadly conduct Possession of Marijuana

Ramon Rogero Perez Jr.(20) Officers responded to the 400 block of Boca Chica Blvd in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, the Officers made contact with the complainant who advised that two subjects riding bicycles shot at the house from the alley. Officers recovered 9mm casings at the location. Officers later located a male subject who was identified as Perez, on the 200 block of Boca Chica riding a bicycle and matching the description of one of the possible subjects. Officers stopped the subject and located a 9mm handgun in his jacket pocket. Witness positively identified Perez as one of the subject that shot at the residence. Possession of Controlled Substance, Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance, Fail to ID

Manuel Alfredo Garza (33) Agents of the Brownsville Police Department conducted surveillance at a residence located on the 1100 block of Bowie Rd after receiving information of a male subject selling heroin from the location. A male subject, later identified as Manuel Alfredo Garza, was conducting deliveries of black tar heroin. Narcotics Agents observed Garza leave the residence in his vehicle and they proceeded to stop him for traffic violations. Garza was placed under arrest for failure to I.D. and several traffic warrants out of Brownsville Municipal Court. Aggravated Robbery

Aggravated Robbery 11/10/16 @ 11:32am 910 E. Washington St. Suspect: Unknown Male On November 10, 2016, at approx. 11:35am, Officers were dispatched to 910 E. Washington St. in reference to an aggravated robbery. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victims who stated that an unknown male suspect wearing jeans, gray colored shirt and a cap, entered the business with a gun and demanded all the money. The victims advised that they feared for their safety and began emptying their registers and handed the suspect an undetermined amount of US currency. Aaron Eduardo Vega (26) On 11/10/2016 at approximately 5:51 P.M. Narcotic agents attempted to conduct a traffic stop at the 800 block of Frontage on a beige 2002 Nissan Pathfinder. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Aaron Eduardo Vega then proceeded to flee at a high rate of speed. The vehicle came to a stop on Los Ebanos Rd., where subject proceeded to flee on foot. The subject was eventually apprehended in the alley of 145 Greenway Dr. Vega admitted to agents that the reason that he had fled was that he had an outstanding warrant.
